These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gawdary mobile application and related services ("Gawdary", "we", "us", or "our"), a marketplace for buying and selling livestock and poultry in Iraq. By creating an account, browsing as a guest, or otherwise using Gawdary, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to post listings or transact on Gawdary. Registration requires a valid phone number, which we verify with a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and device secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Guests may browse public listings without an account. Posting listings, saving favorites, messaging sellers, and other interactive features require a verified account.
2. Listings
- You must have the legal right to sell any animal you list.
- Listings must be accurate, including breed, age, health, price (in Iraqi Dinar), and location.
- Photos and videos must depict the actual animal being offered.
- We may review, edit, reject, or remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Prohibited content & conduct
You agree not to use Gawdary to:
- List endangered, protected, or illegally traded species, or anything prohibited under Iraqi law.
- Misrepresent an animal's health, origin, or condition, or engage in fraud.
- Post offensive, misleading, or unlawful content, or infringe others' rights.
- Harass other users, send spam, or attempt to circumvent platform fees or safeguards.
- Promote animal cruelty or any activity that violates animal welfare standards.
4. Transactions between users
Gawdary is a venue that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction, do not take possession of animals, and do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for inspecting animals, agreeing on terms, and completing trades. We strongly recommend meeting in safe public locations and inspecting animals before payment.
5. Payments, promotions & fees
Browsing and basic listings are free. Optional paid promotions (such as featured or special ads) are processed through our payment partner, Wayl. Fees for promotions are shown before purchase and are non-refundable once the promotion goes live, except where required by law.
6. Messaging conduct
In-app messaging is provided to help buyers and sellers communicate about listings. You agree to use it respectfully and lawfully. We may monitor, limit, or suspend messaging to protect users and the integrity of the marketplace.
7. Content ownership & license
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting content, you grant Gawdary a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or create legal risk. You may stop using Gawdary and request account deletion at any time.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Gawdary is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from transactions between users.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Iraqi courts.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
